It’s not true. That whole soulmate thing. I mean, yes it’s true that you have a soulmate. We all do. But it’s not true that you only have one. Soulmates come in many shapes and sizes … and disguises too.
For example, did you know that your boss may be a soulmate of yours? Yes, your boss. Especially if she’s getting under your skin, or if he’s pushing your buttons. Same goes for that friend of yours who’s doing the same thing or that colleague, sibling, even your kid.
You see, it’s easy to recognise a soulmate when s/he comes beautifully wrapped as the support you receive from a friend, or cooperation from a colleague, or love and care from your partner. But what about when it’s not so nicely presented?
What about those soul partnerships that are dressed as irritation, or a personality clash, or utter exasperation? Because yes, these people are soulmates too.
When we’re willing to see all of the soulmates in our life, when we’re willing to see the purpose behind each of these partnerships, our lives begin to change. For the better.
Instead of feeling trapped in a stressful work environment, or an uncomfortable friendship, or a difficult relationship, we get to see the truth behind each one. And once we see that truth, everything opens up.
A clear choice emerges. A pathway opens. And we can move on from the stress we’ve been experiencing. Even when the person causing the stress remains in our life! (You’ve heard the story about how the outer world changes when our perspective changes, right? True story people!)
Are you ready to see your soulmates for who they truly are?
